Fish foods, feeding trials, planted tank lighting, water conditioners and invertebrate care.
Priya Raman leads food and lighting reviews at fishgoo, designing eight-week feeding trials and their control groups. Food tests use two identical 10-gallon quarantine tanks, one on the test food and one on a reference food, with a fixed group of six fish weighed on scheduled days. Colour is photographed against a grey card, and waste is counted after siphoning onto a filter pad. Lighting research uses a quantum sensor for PAR measurements at three depths and at the tank glass; water conditioners and invertebrate care also fall within Priya's remit.

How I test
Priya Raman runs two identical 10-gallon quarantine tanks for every food trial, one using the test food and the other a reference food. A fixed group of six fish is weighed on days 0, 28 and 56, colour is photographed against a grey card, and waste output is counted by siphoning onto a filter pad. For lighting tests, Priya measures PAR at three depths and at the tank glass with a quantum sensor.

Ami Paris Heart-Embroidered Denim Jacket Review: Rinse Water, a Grey Card and the $45.97 Trucker
We ran the $45.97 Ami Paris heart jacket through two cold washes, weighed it dry on the bench scale and read the rinse water through a filter pad. The embroidery held up; the listing's own spec sheet did not.

MM6 Digital T-Shirt Review: We Cut a 10 cm Swatch to Check the 250–300gsm Claim
Our bench scale read the swatch at 268 g/m², inside the listed 250–300gsm band. The number grid print registered cleanly in both colours, but Margiela's own conversion table still leaves the size to confirm with the seller.

Gucci Bear-Print Tee Review: We Rinsed the GU Bear Print Through 20 Tank-Temperature Cycles
A $5.67 slim-fit polyester print tee built around a GU Bear graphic. We weighed, measured and rinsed the black colourway; the blank is light and dries fast, but buy it from seller tape numbers, not the tag.

The Brand Field Says HL, Not Ralph Lauren: What We Found Inside the $16.42 Bear-Print Top
We ordered the $16.42 black bear-print top, measured it flat, washed it three times and weighed it wet and dry. The cotton is real; the branding claim is not verifiable from the garment itself.

Nike Black Graphic Tee Review: A Week as a Fish-Room Bench Shirt, Siphon Splash to Third Wash
Worn through a week of siphoning and filter swaps, rubbed 40 strokes, washed three times and re-measured. The loose cut runs roomy and the weight claim only holds at the low end.

Dior Black Athletic Shorts Review: A Weigh-Then-Reweigh Drying Log for the $7.91 Mesh-Lined Cut
We soaked the $7.91 Dior-print short, hung it in still air and weighed it every 15 minutes. The mesh lining dries fast; the waistband holds water longest. Here is the drying curve and what the listing still leaves open.

Versace Black Shorts in Everyday Casual Style Review: A Dye-Bleed Soak Test and a Tape on Size M
We ordered both colorways of this $6.87 polyester five-point, wore one through a Portland warm spell and soaked a cut edge in dechlorinated tank water. The print held; the sizing, as ever, did not.

Amiri Letter-Print Logo T-Shirt Review: An $8.36 Cotton Crew Neck Odour-Checked at 28 Days
We ordered the $8.36 Amiri logo tee, weighed the cotton and odour-checked it over 28 days of wear. The fabric reads heavier than a basic tee; the dye print is the part we still cannot promise.
